I've written my whole life, although it wasn't until 2007 that I set a serious intention of becoming a published fiction writer. Before that, I had periodically published magazine articles and reviews on topics like massage therapy, Japan, music, and events.
I've been an active leader of the Seattle Writers Meetup (writers715) since 2007. We meet two to four times a month and critique each other's work. It's been extremely educational and enjoyable.
I am also a Massage Therapist, in private practice since 1999. I married a fellow artist and chef in 1995, and we share our home in Seattle with two adorably crazy cats. I enjoy reading, writing, painting, art, traveling, foreign language study, good food, walking, dancing, music, movies, trivia, things that are purple, zombies, ghosts, the beach/ocean/water, animals, web-surfing, and coffee.
